On July 1st 2021, there was a merger between Export Credit Norway and The Norwegian Export Credit Guarantee Agency (Garantiinstituttet for eksportkreditt (GIEK)) into Export Finance Norway (Eksportfinansiering Norge - Eksfin). The Norwegian Export Credit Guarantee Agency issued guarantees on behalf of the Norwegian State before Export Finance Norway was established.
