Nasjonal transportplan (NTP)

Stortingsmeldingen om ny Nasjonal transportplan (NTP) 2014-2023 ble lagt fram 12. april 2013 og behandles i Stortinget 18. juni 2013.

NTP presenterer regjeringens transportpolitikk, og legger grunnlaget for helhetlige politiske vurderinger, effektiv virkemiddelbruk og styrking av samspillet mellom transportformene. Stortingsmeldingen tas opp til behandling i transport- og kommunikasjonskomiteen som legger sin innstilling fram for Stortinget. Nasjonal transportplan 2010-2019 ble lagt fram i 2009, og gjelder ut 2013.

Bakgrunn: Etatenes forslag

Det faglige grunnlaget for stortingsmeldingen om ny NTP, ligger i forslaget fra transportetatene og Avinor AS, som ble utarbeidet etter retningslinjer fra Samferdselsdepartementet.

Transportplanen har en planperiode på 10 år, men revideres hvert 4. år.

On 22 May 2013, the Norwegian Ministry of Transport and Communications will arrange an information meeting in Leipzig, Germany, on business opportunities in Norway as a result of the National Transport Plan 2014-23 and Upcoming Projects.

National Transport Plan 2014-2023: 50 per cent increase

The National Transport Plan for the period 2014-2023 has an economic framework of NOK 508 billion, an increase of more than NOK 150 billion or 50 per cent.

Unprecedented boost for transport – nationwide

“In the decade ahead we intend to spend a total of NOK 321.9 billion via the fiscal budget on development, operation and maintenance of the road and rail networks and coastal shipping lanes. This is NOK 100 billion or 45 per cent more than in the previous National Transport Plan." This was stated by Transport and Communications Minister, Liv Signe Navarsete, when the Government today presented its White Paper on the National Transport Plan for the period 2010-2019.

National Transport Plan 2010-2019

The National Transport Plan is produced every four years and elaborates on how the Government intends to prioritise resources within the transport sector over the next ten years.
