UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will visit Norway, including Svalbard, from 30 August to 2 September. The official programme will start on Monday 31 August. In addition to an audience with HM King Harald at the Royal Palace, the Secretary-General will have meetings with Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jonas Gahr Støre, Minister of the Environment and International Development Erik Solheim, President of the Storting Thorbjørn Jagland and the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, among others.
