Prime Minister to attend World Ski Championships

“I look forward to the Nordic World Ski Championships and the atmosphere in the Holmenkollen arenas here in Oslo, and to sharing the events with my colleagues from Finland, Poland and Sweden", says Norway’s Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg.

“I look forward to the Nordic World Ski Championships and the atmosphere in the Holmenkollen arenas here in Oslo. The World Ski Championships is followed closely in many countries, and I look forward to sharing the events in the new arenas with my colleagues from Finland, Poland and Sweden", says Norway’s Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg.

The Prime Minister will receive visits from Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk 25-26 February, Finnish Prime Minister Mari Kiviniemi 2-4 March and Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt 3-4 Mach. In addition to political talks, Stoltenberg will be the host of his colleagues in the Holmenkollen arenas.

Prime Minister Stoltenberg’s programme during the World Ski Championships:

Friday 25 February attending ladies’ ski jumping normal hill.

Saturday 26 February attending ladies’ 15 km pursuit and men’s ski jumping normal hill, with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Stoltenberg will also attend the medal ceremonies in downtown Oslo from 7.30 pm that evening.

Thursday 3 March attending ladies’ 4x5 km relay with Finnish Prime Minister Mari Kiviniemi and Sweden’s Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt.

Stoltenberg and Kiviniemi will also attend men’s ski jumping large hill.

Friday 4 March attending men’s 4x10 km relay with Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt.
