On 21 August, we will gather to remember those who died in the Government buildings and at Utøya. To honour the victims and all those who helped during and after the attacks. To take care of each other and show compassion.

About the national memorial ceremony

The Government has decided to hold a national memorial ceremony in the wake of the attacks 22 July on the Government buildings and on Utøya. The decision was taken in consultation with the political parties in the Norwegian Parliament.

The ceremony will take place in Oslo Spektrum on Sunday 21 August at 3 pm.
Bereaved families, survivors and others directly affected by the attacks will be invited, along with rescuers, health workers and other contributors, as well as representatives from the official Norway.
