Culture, leisure and belief systems
The arts, culture and the voluntary sector contribute to a richer society. Through specific measures and a general strengthening of the arts, culture and the voluntary sector, the Government aims to improve the situation of the cultural and voluntary sectors. Freedom of belief and religion are fundamental values which society and the law must strengthen and protect.
The Ministry of Culture and Church Affairs is responsible for culture, the church, media, sport and the gaming and lottery sector. The Ministry is also responsible for coordinating government policy in relation to the voluntary sector.
