German-Norwegian cooperation on hydrogen
News story Date: 23/04/2024
Germany and Norway are continuing the cooperation on evaluating an industry-driven and commercial large-scale supply of hydrogen from Norway to Germany. Industrial players are in the driver’s seat for bringing the commercial and technical processes forward, while the authorities are looking into the processes required to set up the necessary regulatory framework for a hydrogen value chain. A Task Force is established to follow up the ongoing work.

NOK 1 billion to prevent plastic pollution

Extension of collective protection for Ukrainians

The Ministry of Justice and Public Security today presented a proposal to the Storting for amendments to the Immigration Act. The Bill proposes an increase in the period for which temporary collective protection can be granted, from the current three years to five years.

Norway will continue to provide support for Ukrainians, but is imposing more restrictions to bring the level of arrivals closer to that of the Nordic countries.
