Registration and lodging

The conference Melting Ice: Regional Dramas, Global Wake-Up Call will take place on 28 April, the day before the Arctic Council’s annual ministerial meeting on the 29th. It comes on the heels of preparatory meetings at the civil servant level (SAO) on 26 and 27 April.

The Arctic Council meetings are primarily for representatives of the countries in the Arctic Council. Participants at the ice melting conference is limited to Foreign Ministers, senior officials to the Arctic Council, representatives of EU and other states as well as a small group of climate scientists and representatives of Norwegian indigenous peoples.
