The Coast Guard (CG:

The Coast Guard has four helicopter-equipped patrol vessels: three NORDKAPP Class and the new CGV SVALBARD with a hull specially strengthened for operations in ice. All four carry a helicopter. In addition the Coast Guard leases vessels for inshore patrol tasks. The Coast Guard also has six LYNX helicopters together with a fixed number of flying hours by P-3 Orion maritime patrol aircraft and chartered observation aircraft.
