EU-erklæring om tredjelands tilslutning til en forlengelse av restriktive tiltak mot nettangrep som truer unionen eller dens medlemsland

17. juni sluttet Norge seg til EU-erklæringen om tredjelands tilslutning til en forlengelse av restriktive tiltak mot nettangrep som truer unionen eller dens medlemsland.

On 14 May 2020, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2020/651[1].

The Council Decision extends the existing restrictive measures for a further twelve months, until 18 May 2021.

The Candidate Countries Turkey, Republic of North Macedonia, Montenegro and Albania[2], the country of the Stabilisation and Association Process and potential candidate Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the EFTA countries Iceland and Norway, members of the European Economic Area, as well as Ukraine and Georgia align themselves with this Council Decision.

They will ensure that their national policies conform to this Council Decision.

The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it.
