All transport of goods, both import and export, which does not involve the carriage of passengers is to carry on as normal by road, trains, ships and aircraft. Airports, ports and border crossings are being kept open for such traffic.

All customs offices are maintaining (as far as possible) their goods handling capacity and their ability to inspect the flow of goods.

Norway relies on good supply lines to ensure that essential goods are available for the population at large as well as for business and other activities. Air, maritime, road and railway traffic are all important parts of the supply lines in and out of Norway.

The restrictions announced by the Prime Minister on Saturday 14 March apply in large part to passenger traffic.

Goods traffic may continue as before, but mobility restrictions may be issued for personnel on vehicles/vessels.

In dialogue with the relevant actors, we will continuously assess the situation and make adjustments as necessary.
