Comment after mass detentions in Moscow

'Norway is concerned by mass detentions of peaceful demonstrators in Moscow and other Russian cities. We call for their immediate release and expect Russia to adhere to its international obligations to ensure freedom of speech and freedom of assembly', the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ine Eriksen Søreide, said after the demonstrations 23 January.
