Faster integration of refugees

The Government will ensure rapid and successful integration of immigrants, and puts forward a series of measures to promote integration.
The government proposes to jointly allocate NOK 59 million to integration measures in the revised national budget.
In the revised national budget, it is assumed that Norway will recieve fewer asylum seekers than earlier estimated. Still the costs of immigration and integration is increased by NOK 1.3 billion. The increase is mainly due to the fact that municipalities will recieve more refugees than previously expected. In addition there are now several unaccompanied minors in the care centers.
