"We want to hand over our planet to our children in at least as good a condition as when we took it over from our parents. For me it will be important to have a generational perspective on our future policies," said Sundtoft.

The new government will maintain and strengthen the climate agreement.

"My experience from 26 years in politics, lobbying and working as Chief County Executive has taught me that politics makes a vital difference. So I’m looking forward to working on strengthening the measures from the climate agreement," said Sundtoft.

Tine Sundtoft lives in Lillesand in Aust-Agder County and is now leaving her job as Chief County Executive for Vest-Agder. She has previously been regional director for the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO) in Agder and parliamentary political advisor for the Conservative Party.
