Norway deeply concerned about situation in Tigray, Ethiopia

'Norway is deeply concerned about the deteriorating situation in Tigray, Ethiopia and the regional impact. We call the parties to immediately put down weapons and resort to dialogue', said Foreign Minister Ine Eriksen Søreide.
Norway supports the African Union (AU) and the regionale organisation Igad's efforts and urges the parties to respect international human law and protect civilians.
