Paal Pedersen was appointed State Secretary to the Minister for Local Government and Modernisation, Nikolai Astrup on 23 March 2020.

Biography

Paal Pedersen is a political scientist from the University of Oslo. He leaves his position as communications director with the University of Agder. 

He has previously served as chief of staff to the Mayor of Oslo and political adviser to the Norwegian Conservative Party's parliamentary group.
