State Secretary Roy Angelvik (Progress Party)

State Secretary for the Minister of Fisheries and Seafood

Mr Angelvik was appointed State Secretary for the Minister of Fisheries in May 2016. Prior to this, he worked as a political adviser to the Minister of Fisheries from December 2015. As State Secretary, he is dedicated to aquaculture, bio-economy and research. Angelvik became a certified chef in 1994 and worked as a chef until 2001. He was editor of a cookbook on local Norwegian cuisine that was published in 2002. He has been self-employed and has run a catering and canteen operation for nearly ten years. In addition to his career, he has been actively involved in the Progress Party in Sør-Trøndelag county, as leader of the local party, as county leader, and as a council representative.
