As Minister of Petroleum and Energy Odd Roger Enoksen has wanted to leave the Government, the Crown Prince Regent has in today’s session of the Council of State appointed Ms. Åslaug Haga – until now Minister of Local Government and Regional Development, to the post as Minister of Petroleum and Energy. Ms. Magnhild Meltveit Kleppa, Member of Storting and former Government minister, has been appointed to the post as Minister of Local Government and Regional Development.

As Minister of Petroleum and Energy Odd Roger Enoksen has wanted to leave the Government, the Crown Prince Regent has in today’s session of the Council of State appointed Ms. Åslaug Haga – until now Minister of Local Government and Regional Development, to the post as Minister of Petroleum and Energy. Ms. Magnhild Meltveit Kleppa, Member of Storting and former Government minister, has been appointed to the post as Minister of Local Government and Regional Development. Mr. Odd Roger Enoksen has been honourably discharged from his post.

The changes are effective as of 1 pm today.

The Government represents the Labour Party (Lab.), the Socialist Left Party (Soc.) and the Centre Party (Cent.). The government list now is as follows:
