The Office of the Prime Minister has appointed Ms. Astrid Bergmål as political adviser to Minister of Justice Knut Storberget, and Ms. Astrid Huitfeldt, public relations manager, as political adviser to Minister of Foreign Affairs Jonas Gahr Støre.

The Office of the Prime Minister has appointed Ms. Astrid Bergmål as political adviser to Minister of Justice Knut Storberget, and Ms. Astrid Huitfeldt, public relations manager, as political adviser to Minister of Foreign Affairs Jonas Gahr Støre.

Bergmål will be acting on the post for therest of 2011, while Eirik Øwre Thorshaug is acting state secretary in the ministry. Huitfeldt will succeed Tarjei Skirbekk.

Bergmål comes from a post as political adviser to the Labour Party’s parliamentary group. Huitfeldt has for the last year been public relations manager at the Norwegian Air Ambulance Foundation.
