Following today’s changes in the Government, the King has in today’s extraordinary session of the Council of State made changes among the state secretaries.

Following today’s changes in the Government, the King has in today’s extraordinary session of the Council of State made the following changes among the state secretaries:

  • Ms. Henriette Westhrin, Ms. Heidi Sørensen, Ms. Ingrid Fiskaa, Mr. Kyrre Lekve and Ms. Lubna Jaffery have been honourably discharged from their offices as state secretaries
  • Ms. Heidi Sørensen, state secretary, has been appointed state secretary to Minister of the Environment Bård Vegar Solhjell
  • Mr. Kyrre Lekve, state secretary, has been appointed state secretary to Minister of Education and Research Kristin Halvorsen
  • Ms. Ingrid Fiskaa has been appointed state secretary to Minister of International Development Heikki Holmås
  • Ms. Henriette Westhrin, state secretary, has been appointed state secretary to Minister of Children, Equality and Social Inclusion Inga Marte Thorkildsen
  • Mr. Ahmad Ghanizadeh, deputy director general, Hole in Buskerud, has been appointed state secretary to Minister of Children, Equality and Social Inclusion Inga Marte Thorkildsen

The changes are active as of 3 pm today.  

The Government represents the Labour Party (Lab.), the Socialist Left Party (Soc.) and the Centre Party (Cent.). The list of state secretaries is now as follows:
