One year after the attacks on Utøya and the Government Quarter, The Government will arrange national commemorations during 22. July.

In addition, visits to Utøya by the bereaved will be facilitated from the morning onward and in the evening, while The Workers' Youth League (AUF) is planning an event on the island at noon. There will also be memorial services in the Church of Norway, e.g. in the Cathedral of Oslo and in Hole Church.

11:00 Memorial services
There will be special memorial services held in Hole Church and in the Cathedral of Oslo. Other congregations in the Church of Norway will conduct their own, local services on the day.

20:00 National Memorial Concert 22.07.2012, City Hall Square, Oslo

In charge: The Ministry of Culture in cooperation with NRK Aktivum

Artists:
Appearances will be made by deLillos, Karpe Diem, Marit Larsen, Mari Boine, Vinni and Halvdan Sivertsen. The Norwegian Radio Orchestra will also participate. Several of the artists have written new songs and lyrics for this concert. Writers Karl Ove Knausgård and Frode Grytten will be reading new texts about 22nd July, and there will be videos featuring some of those directly affected by the attacks last year.

The concert is open to the public and will also be transmitted live on NRK1.
NRK is hosting the concert at the behest of the Government.
