Statement from the Foreign Minister about Myanmar

'I am deeply concerned about the escalating situation in Myanmar. Norway strongly urges the military to refrain from all use of violence and of restrictions against people that are exercising their right to expression and assembly, and to release those who are detained', the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ine Eriksen Søreide said.
