Recommendation of September 15, 2010, on the exclusion of the company Lingui Developments Berhad

The Malaysian forest company Lingui Developments Berhad has been excluded from the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global on the grounds of illegal logging and severe environmental damage. The Council on Ethics has assessed the company’s operations in Sarawak (Malaysia). Lingui is a subsidiary of Samling Global Ltd., which was excluded from SPU in 2010.
