Gratulasjonsbrev til Estlands nye statsminister

Dear Ms Kallas

I would like to congratulate you on taking up your position as Prime Minister of the Republic of Estonia. 

Estonia and Norway enjoy excellent bilateral relations and are close partners in NATO, in the European Economic Area, in particular under the EEA and Norway Grants scheme, and in the UN, where we are working together closely in the Security Council. We also greatly value our friendship and partnership with Estonia within the Nordic-Baltic cooperation.

On 5 February we will celebrate 100 years of diplomatic relations. I am confident that this celebration will further strengthen the already close ties between Norway and Estonia.

I look forward to working with you and hope that we will have a chance to meet in the near future.
