Det bør ikke åpnes for vindkraft til havs da man har forskning som viser at både fisk og havpattedyr er sensitive ift. infralyd. Utvinnelse av metaller for å produsere vindturbiner, frakt av turbiner, mikroplast, ikke-resirkulerbart materiale, osv. gir totalt et større klimaavtrykk enn vindturbinene kan produsere i form av strøm.
