    Verdens helseorganisasjons (WHO) International Health Regulations (2005) er en avtale mellom 196 medlemsland og WHO om å samarbeide for en bedre global helsesikkerhet. Norge deltar.
    "The purpose and scope of the International Health Regulations (2005) are to prevent, protect against, control and provide a public health response to the international spread of disease in ways that are commensurate with and restricted to public health risks, and which avoid unnecessary interference with international traffic and trade"

  • EU Health Security Committee (HSC)
    Helse-sikkerhetskomiteen (HSC) er underlagt DG SANTE. Helse- og omsorgsdepartementet deltar som observatør i styret for HSC.

    "Mission: - supporting the exchange of information between the Member States and the Commission on the experience acquired with regard to the implementation of Decision 1082/2013/EU; - coordination in liaison with the Commission of the preparedness and response planning of the Member States in accordance with Article 4 of Decision 1082/2013/EU; - coordination in liaison with the Commission of the risk and crisis communication and responses of the Member States to serious cross-border threats to health."

  • ECDC
    ECDC er EUs smittevernbyrå. Helse-og omsoprgsdepartemenet deltar som observatør i styret for ECDC.

  • JPIAMR
    Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance, JPIAMR, er et internasjonalt samarbeid om forskningsfinansiering mot antibiotikaresistens. Helse- og omsorgsdepartementet deltar i styret for JPIAMR.

    "JPIAMR is a global collaborative platform and has engaged 27 nations to curb antibiotic resistance (AMR) with a One Health approach. The initiative coordinates national funding to support transnational research and activities within the six priority areas of the shared JPIAMR Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda – therapeutics, diagnostics, surveillance, transmission, environment and interventions. To date JPIAMR has supported research and network projects, with funding of approximately 67 million euro."

  • Global AMR R&D Hub
    G20-initiativet Global AMR R&D Hub har som mål å bidra til bedre prioriteringer for forskning og utvikling knyttet til antibiotikaresistens. Helse- og omsorgsdepartementet deltar i styret for Global AMR R&D Hub.

    "The Global AMR R&D Hub will be the global knowledge centre for AMR R&D and will strengthen R&D coordination and collaboration across the One Health continuum. The Global AMR R&D Hub will help to set global priorities to maximise the impact and efficiency of global resources for AMR R&D."

  • European Joint Action on Vaccination
    European Joint Action on Vaccination, EU-JAV, skal bidra til bedre samarbeid mellom land i EU/EØS om vaksiner og vaksinasjon. Norge, ved Folkehelseinstituttet, leder to av arbeidspakkene i EU-JAV. Helse- og omsorgsdepartementet deltar i styrende organer.

    "EU-JAV brings together the European Commission, health ministries, international policymakers and organisations, institutes, universities from 20 countries and a wide range of stakeholders, including civil society and manufacturers’ representatives, working on vaccination policy and health services. Through its core mission of delivering and sharing concrete tools for stronger national responses to vaccination challenges, the EU‐JAV aims at spurring long‐lasting European cooperation against vaccine‐preventable diseases and therefore improve population health.
