The conference highlights the advantages of inclusive tourism by showing how inclusive tourism can contribute to sustainable community building, and further support equality and independence for everyone. We want to illustrate how universal design contributes to increased social sustainability in the Nordic countries. The conference seeks to inspire by presenting local examples of sustainable and inclusive tourism from Norway, the Nordic countries, and the rest of the world.

Our purpose is to bring together the private sector, administrators, public service providers, researchers, designers, architects, planners, developers, users, and practitioners interested in the advances and applications in the field of Universal Design and Sustainable Tourism.
