AN ILLUSTRATED GUIDE INSIDE THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE
The Ministry of Finance has its offices in the old government
building situated in Akersgata 40. The building was constructed
around 1900, and is distinguished from its neighbouring buildings by
the typical Norwegian contemporary architecture. Parts of the
building are renovated to its original shape and are officially
safeguarded by the Inspectorate of Ancient Monuments and Historic
Buildings. The Ministry has created a cavalcade of images in order
to present a brief impression of the old building. The tour
contains several photographs of key parts of the ministry building,
including minor details about certain decorations and art pieces.
