Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (of 2004) (2004–2006)

On 1 October 2004, the Ministry of Social Affairs (of 2002) had its name changed to the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, listed here as the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (of 2004). Labour affairs were transferred from the Ministry of Government Administration and Labour (of 1998), which now had its name changed to the Ministry of Modernisation. A number of social affairs were transferred to the Ministry of Health, which now had its name changed to the Ministry of Health and Care Services.

On 17 October 2005, responsibility for alcohol and drug affairs in the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (of 2004) was transferred to the minister responsible for the Ministry of Health and Care Services, while responsibility for integration, immigration and minorities affairs in the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development was transferred to the minister responsible for the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (of 2004). On 1 January 2006, these affairs were transferred to the Ministry of Health and Care Services and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (of 2004) respectively. The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (of 2004) now had its name changed to the Ministry of Labour and Social Inclusion.
