The Ministry of Postal Affairs was temporarily re-established on 1 May 1885. It is listed here as the Ministry of Postal Affairs (of 1885). Affairs were transferred from the Ministry of the Navy and Postal Affairs, which now had its name changed to the Ministry of the Navy, listed here as the Ministry of the Navy (of 1885).
On 1 January 1886, the Ministry of Postal Affairs (of 1885) was abolished. Affairs were transferred to the Ministry of the Interior (of 1846).
