Minister of Local Government and Regional Development Magnhild Meltveit Kleppa (Centre Party)

The Minister of Local Government and Regional Development is responsible for Norwegian housing policy, district and regional development, local government and the administration of elections. The minister is born on 12 November 1948. As a teacher, she holds a degree from Agder University. Mrs. Kleppa was Minister of Social Affairs in Kjell Magne Bondevik’s first government 1999 – 2000.
