Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and its repeated attacks on civilian infrastructure constitute serious violations of international law and have been condemned by a large majority of UN member states, including Norway. Through attacks such as these, Russia demonstrates a complete absence of willingness to seek a path to peace and instead chooses to escalate.

Russia’s brutal attacks underscore the importance of continuing our support to Ukraine’s legitimate right to self-defence with full force.
