The Government has appointes Marie Benedicte Bjørnland som ny as Commissioner for the National Police Directorate.
– I look forward to embarking on the new tasks that await me, and look forward to joining April 1 next year, says Benedicte Bjørnland.
Bjørnland has been appointed for a term of six years with the possibility of a further year of six years after the announcement and application.
– I am very pleased that Benedicte Bjørnland has accepted this important social mission. I look forward to working with her, says the Minister of Justice Tor Mikkel Wara.
