Statement on mass execution in Saudi Arabia

'The mass execution of 81 people in Saudi Arabia on 12 March is deeply concerning. Norway opposes the use of the death penalty under any circumstances. We call on Saudi Arabia to impose a moratorium on the use of death penalty as a first step towards abolition', said Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt.
