Statement on the escalation between Israel and groups in Gaza

'I am alarmed by the escalation and another round of rocket attacks between Israel and groups in Gaza', said Minister of Foreign Affairs Anniken Huitfeldt.
'Norway condemns all attacks against civilians and the death of civilians, including children. The violence must stop', said Huitfeldt.
'All actors must respect international humanitarian law, protect civilians, and contribute to de-escalation'.
'Only a political solution will prevent such violence from happening again and again', said Huitfeldt.
