Norway is deeply concerned by the violence following demonstrations in Baghdad yesterday. Norway joins UNSG Guterres' appeal for calm and restraint, urging all relevant actors to take immediate steps to de-escalate the situation and avoid any violence.
Norway calls for constructive engagement among all parties based on democratic principles in order to find an equitable solution that will end the political crisis.
