Name of event: UNGA High-Level Side Event on Sudan
Date and time: Thursday, 30 September (1600 – 1800)
The event, co-hosted by UN Secretary-General and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway, will provide an opportunity for the transitional Government of Sudan to update on progress and current challenges, and for international partners to demonstrate their continued commitment to the transition. Speakers will be from Sudan’s key partners from the international community including the UN Security Council, members of the Friends of Sudan Group and regional states, international financial institutions and key regional organisations.
