The Government introduces clear objectives for a sustainable and socioeconomically beneficial data centre industry, highlighting security requirements for data centres
- Norway is to be the most digitalised country in the world by 2030, and data centres play a key role in achieving this goal. This summer, the Government presented a new Data Centre Strategy to ensure that we have a sustainable, secure and socioeconomically beneficial data centre industry in Norway, says Minister of Digitalisation and Public Governance, Karianne Tung.
Norway Moves Forward with Age Limit for Social Media
The Norwegian government is taking decisive steps to protect children online by presenting a public consultation proposal for a new law that would prohibit social media platforms from offering their services to children under the age of 15.
