The objective of this Fact Sheet is to provide a comprehensive presentation of generation, transmission and consumption of energy in Norway.
The Fact Sheet reviews energy supply in Norway, and provides an overview of the most important statutes that set the framework for public administration. Norwegian petroleum activities are described in a separate publication from the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy and the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate.
