The Prime Minister on sick leave for another week
Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik’s condition has improved substantially over this past week. However, he still needs more time to recuperate. He has today been put on sick leave for another week beginning Monday 7 September. Although it is still too early to fix a date for his sick leave to end, Mr. Bondevik’s physician expects him to be back at work well before the Storting reconvenes.
