Åslaug M. Haga to succeed Anne Enger Lahnstein as Minister of Culture

In today’s session of the Council of State, the King has appointed Ms. Åslaug Marie Haga (39), state secretary, Ås, as Minister of Culture, effective as of today at 1.30 pm. Following Ms. Anne Enger Lahnstein’s application to resign from her office as Minister of Culture, the King has honourably discharged her from that office from the same moment. Also from the same moment, Mr. Odd Roger Enoksen, Minister of Local Government and Regional Development, has been authorised as Deputy for the Prime Minister.

The Ministry of Culture’s state secretary and political advisor are to continue in their offices.
