Change of state secretaries

In today’s session of the Council of State, the King has appointed Ms. Anna Kristine Jahr Røine (49), head of secretariate, Fetsund, as state secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister, effective as of 8 am on 18 October. At the same time two state secretaries have been honourably discharged from their offices: Mr. Arne Synnes in the Ministry of Finance as of today, and Mr. Helge Eide in the Ministry of Labour and Government Administration as of 8 am on 18 October. Mr. Eide has then been appointed state secretary in the Ministry of Finance, effective as of 8 am on 18 October.
