The Office of the Prime Minister has as of 10 March appointed Ms. Lubna Jaffery Fjell (27), Fjell in Hordaland, as acting political advisor to Minister of Labour and Social Inclusion Bjarne Håkon Hanssen. She succeeds Ms Hadia Tajik, who since 22 February 2008 is acting political advisor to Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg.

She succeeds Ms Hadia Tajik, who since 22 February 2008 is acting political advisor to Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg.

Lubna Jaffery Fjell comes from a post as advisor at the SINTEF Group, and has previously been political advisor at the Labour Youth League. She has been member of Fjell Municipal Council and Bergen City Council, and the Labour Youth League’s central board. Jaffery Fjell holds a Bergen University Master’s degree in administration and organisation studies, and also a Cand. Mag. degree in political science, public law and sociology.

The Government represents the Labour Party (Lab.), the Socialist Left Party (Soc.) and the Centre Party (Cent.). The list of political advisors now is as follows:
