Eli Blakstad state secretary in OED

In today’s session of the Council of State the King has appointed Ms. Eli Blakstad (48), managing director, Sør-Fron, as state secretary to Minister of Petroleum and Energy Ola Borten Moe.

Eli Blakstad comes from the post as managing director of Peer Gynt as, at Vinstra in Oppland. She also runs a family farm in Ringsaker. She is a skilled agronomist and a chartered bookkeeper, and has been member of i.a. the NHO strategic council for tourism. She has been leader of Oppland Centre Party and member of Oppland county Council, and has also held various national posts in the Centre Party.
