On Thursday 22 July 2021, Norway will mark that ten years have passed since the terrorist attacks that killed 77 people at the Government Office Complex in Oslo and on the island of Utøya. National memorial events will be held in Oslo and in the municipality of Hole.

Members of the media who wish to cover the events must register for accreditation. The accreditation deadline is 15 July. Accreditation allows entry to events where there are available spaces and where arrangements have been made for the media to be present.

Accredited media representatives will be sent more detailed information about the various memorial events, including information about COVID-19 Certificates and testing requirements. Accredited media representatives must carry a press card and valid identification.

Media arrangements for the individual 22 July events follow:

9:00-9:50: Memorial at Government Office Complex in Oslo

A press area will be designated but space is limited due to the coronavirus situation and ongoing construction work. If demand for access is high, media representatives may be asked to observe the memorial online.

When the event concludes, at about 9:50, it will be possible for media representatives to conduct arranged interviews. The people to be interviewed will then move to the press area.

A TV signal from the memorial event will be available as a pool production from the Norwegian Government Security and Service Organisation (DSS).
