Norway welcomes the joint declaration in Kabul and the agreement in Qatar between the United States and Taliban.
The Afghan people deserve peace. We urge the Afghan parties to move swiftly into inclusive peace talks and to end violence. Congratulations to the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs on successful mediation. Norway supports the process.
