Further NOK 2.8 billion in support to Ukraine
‘Together with our European partners, Norway is providing funding for military support packages to help Ukraine to defend itself. The military equipment is sourced from the US. Another important contribution is now under way. It is my hope that more European countries will contribute to this initiative to ensure that Ukraine quickly receives much-needed military equipment,’ said Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.

Norway provides NOK 1.7 billion to the World Food Programme to combat hunger and humanitarian need
Minister of International Development Åsmund Aukrust today signed a new four-year agreement with the World Food Programme (WFP), committing NOK 1.72 billion to help people affected by hunger. The funding will contribute to saving lives at a time when the number of people facing acute food insecurity is at a record high.
