Recommendation of February 22nd, 2010, on the exclusion of the company Samling Global Ltd

The Malaysian forest company Samling Global has been excluded from the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global on the grounds of illegal logging and severe environmental damage. The Council on Ethics has assessed the company’s operations in Sarawak (Malaysia) and Guyana.
