On 6 December 1947, the Ministry of Trade (of 1916) had its name changed to the Ministry of Industry (Ministry of Industry, Craft and Shipping), listed here as the Ministry of Industry (of 1947). Trade affairs were transferred to the new Ministry of Trade (of 1947).
On 1 January 1955, shipping affairs were transferred from the Ministry of Industry (of 1947) to the Ministry of Trade (of 1947), which now had its name changed to the Ministry of Trade and Shipping. The Ministry of Industry (of 1947) now had its name changed to the Ministry of Industry (Ministry of Industry and Craft), listed here as the Ministry of Industry (of 1955).
