Norway participates in the EU's Space Programmes Galileo, EGNOS and Copernicus. The participation is incorporated in the EEA Agreement.
Norway contributes financially to the development of the programmes. In addition, ground stations on Norwegian territory are important for the smooth functioning of Galileo, EGNOS and Copernicus. Norway's agreements on Galileo, EGNOS and Copernicus give us access to the governing bodies of the programmes.
